Wales Football Manager Gary Speed Commits Suicide at 42

Gary Andrew Speed, the 42-year-old manager of the Wales national team and former Welsh football player (He was captain of the Wales national football team until he retired from international football in 2004 ), was this morning found hanged after an apparent suicide at his home in Cheshire. Police say there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

Speed, born in Mancot, Flintshire, had appeared on BBC1's Football Focus show on Saturday afternoon, just hours before his death. He was a married father of two.

Father of three commits suicide: writes landlord, pastor and wife

For residents and neighbours of No 6, Sikiru Rotimi Street, Ejigbo, Lagos, the death of a businessman simply identified as Joseph was a rude shock that left them dazed for days. Although, the way and manner by which he met his death was clear, the reason for his death remains a big mystery to his family, friends and neighbours. The deceased committed suicide by hanging himself on November 15, 2011. Before he hanged himself, the father of three, whose first son’s name is Jeremiah, wrote three letters addressed to his landlord, pastor and wife respectively.According to neighbours who heard his wife narrating the sequence of events that led to the tragedy, the deceased wrote a letter, enveloped and addressed it to his pastor, after which he gave his wife to deliver to the pastor of the church of the zonal headquarters of Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministry church located on the adjacent street, where the family worships. Kris Humphries to sue Kim Kardashian for $10million

It's been alleged that Kris Humphries is planning to sue his wife of only 72 days, Kim Kardashian, for $10million over his role in the upcoming Kim and Kourtney take New York series.

According to Life&Style magazine: ‘He’s claiming his role on Kourtney & Kim Take New York is bigger than he was told, and that’s why he wants more money. Kris is also suing because he’s really worried about how badly he’s going to be portrayed on the series.’

Court orders NDLEA to pay Baba Suwe N25million as damages

An Ikeja High Court in Lagos this morning ordered the National Drug Law Enforcement agency (NDLEA) to pay the sum of N25 million to Baba Suwe as damages for unlawfully detaining him for three weeks over drug trafficking allegations. And to also tender a public apology to him in two national dailies.

You think NDLEA will pay this money or its gragra? I don't recall Uzoma Okere collecting a dime of the 100million the courts awarded her last year.............

President Goodluck Jonathan sacks Efcc boss:farida waziri

President Goodluck Jonathan this morning sacked the boss of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commision (EFCC) and announced Ibrahim Lamorde, a police officer and EFCC Director or Operations, as the new acting chairman of the anti-graft agency.

Ms Waziri was appointed chairman of EFCC in May 2008 by late President Yar'Adua and her tenure wasn't supposed to expire till may 2012. So erm, what did she do? Why the sack?

The story i heard was that the singer and a friend were returning from a night club in the early hours of sunday Nov 20th when they spotted a man lying by the roadside, writhing in pain. Tuface asked that they come out of their car to see what was wrong the man. He was a police man who had been shot a few times by armed robbers just a few minutes before 2baba vehicle drove through.


So him and his friend took the injured police man to a hospital in VI, where he was treated after Tuface stood as his guarantor. The police man was later moved to another hospital after his people came.
